NOBLE National Statement on the Los Angeles Wildfires
Alexandria, Va. – The leadership and members of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) offer our unwavering support to the individuals, families, and communities affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California. We also express our deepest gratitude to the first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, and volunteers who have risked their lives to protect and serve during this crisis, which has left countless people displaced, lives tragically lost, and communities grappling with overwhelming loss and uncertainty.
As an organization committed to justice, equity, and the well-being of all communities, NOBLE stands in solidarity with those who have been impacted, and we urge our members and stakeholders to join us in supporting the recovery and relief efforts. Whether through donations, volunteering, or offering resources, together, we can help these communities begin to heal and rebuild. Visit Los Angeles Wildfires Support Resources for a variety of opportunities to offer assistance during this critical time.
We also call on local, state, and federal partners to prioritize the immediate and long-term needs of the affected areas, ensuring equitable access to recovery resources for the most vulnerable populations.
In times like these, the strength of community and collective action is critical. NOBLE remains committed to serving and supporting all communities, especially during moments of crisis.
Our thoughts, prayers, and commitment to helping are with the people of Southern California today and in the days to come.
